Orthogonal Latin Triangles

From a 1964 recreational-mathematics essay —

Note that the first two triangle-dissections above are analogous to
mutually orthogonal Latin squares . This implies a connection to
affine transformations within Galois geometry. See triangle graphics
in this  journal.
