"Paul John Jerome Caponigro was born on Dec. 7, 1932, in Boston.
His father, George Caponigro, was an Italian immigrant whose many jobs
included floorer and mushroom farmer. His mother, Mary (Cultrera) Caponigro,
who was from Sicily, managed the home."
