The diamond is used in modal logic to symbolize possibility. |

the famed “24-cell,” which may be
pictured either as the diamond
figure from Plato’s Meno —

second version that shows all
vertices and edges, yet the
second version is implicit,
or hidden, in the first.
Hence “possibility.”
