  1. Listening to NPR, they were talking about Mahfouz as I read this. I’m not familiar with his work, but like the translated bits I’ve just heard.

    Since my I Ching was right here, I looked up that hexagram, just because… Kuan, wind over earth, Contemplation. hmmm…
